"We had a great day travelling through the Mary Valley with Joel’s Journeys. Morning coffee was unique and the coffee very good. The scenery was spectacular as we made our way to the `Rattler’ and the town of Kenilworth where we had a great lunch and time to explore the town with its famous cheese factory. A walk through the forest with the amazing Fig Tree ended the tour. We highly recommend the tour which was conducted in a most efficient and pleasant way."

All the locations we visited were very scenic and beautiful. As we were returning from the end, we took an unexpected stop at a golf course so Joel could potentially show us Americans some kangaroos in the wild - and sure enough we saw some."

"Joel was a very knowledgeable guide and did everything possible to give his clients a great experience. The tour covered a round trip of about 160 km into the hinterland behind Noosa and other coastal holiday towns. Some of the highlights were an hour exploring the delightful Montville, a 45 minute walk in a fabulous peaceful & beautiful remnant old growth forest, beautiful views from the best lookout spots, a lovely lunch, a top rate chocolate tasting stop and a wine tasting. Everything was top class, nothing was too much effort for Joel and I thoroughly recommend this tour."

"Joel promptly picked us up at 8.15am from our accommodation in Noosa in his lovely clean comfy van and took us on a full day private tour of Maleny and Montville which are the most adorable little picturesque towns. We visited a stunning waterfall at Mapleton with incredible views as well as an amazing guided rainforest walk where we spotted about 7 pademelon’s, various birds, flora and learnt about the eco system of the area. Joel’s knowledge of the local area is phenomenal. A delicious and huge lunch was included at a local restaurant in Flaxton as well as a visit and tasting at Maleny chocolatiers. He also took us to a Secret treetop resort with incredible and breathtaking views of Lake Baroon. It was the most wonderful jam-packed yet relaxing 9 hour day. And a great day out even though it was intermittently raining.
Would definitely recommend you book Joel. He was so friendly, kind and so accommodating and will be booking him again when we return to the Sunshine Coast for our next holiday."

"My friend and I were picked up so neither of us had to drive anywhere which is good when you are intending visiting a winery. The Bus Stop for morning tea was delightful with very good coffee and carrot cake. Lunch was also very nice and we all really enjoyed the wine and cheese tasting. We thought the train was terrific and would have liked to experience riding on it. The bell bird Forrest was delightful. My only real negative comment is that we should have been supplied with water especially as it was a very hot day. Any day trips I've undertaken have always supplied water. Otherwise we should have been advised to bring water. Our host is a very personable, energetic young man and we wish him well.

Note in response to this review: Joel’s Journeys always have water on our tour buses for our guests to refill their own water bottles on request. This was a case of miscommunication where we were not aware that Lyn wanted water, and Lyn was not aware that we had water on the bus. Therefore Lyn and the water did not realise they were in close proximity to each other for the duration of our tour. We take onboard this feedback and will ensure we advise our guests of the water more effectively in future.

"British backpacker in Australia arrived in Noosa on the 5th of feb and realised I needed a car but only here for a few days and I wanted to go the Australian zoo ( Steve Irwin’s zoo) and my hostel said that JOEL ADVENTURES can pick you up and drop you back with the zoo tickets included and I thought what a great idea. As I didn’t want to rent a car and I also didn’t want to get the train. So I reached out to Joel and from the booking process to contacting was so easy Joël helped you book the trip. Then from picking up all the way to the zoo Joel had music on he was so happy and cheerful kind and honestly he knew so much about the Sunshine Coast and well Australia and I think that means a lot for us backpackers it’s refreshing and it was just remarkable it’s so nice hearing all the stories and learning about the culture and community knowing all the locations on the way to the zoo. We got dropped right off our side the zoo VIP treatments! The car/bus is brand new so comfortable air corn recliner seats . Ah it’s perfect 10/10 service i could recommend any more!
